"To aid you in your quest, I will give you a blue ribbon, which may be used to enter the elevator on this floor. Go now - - and may the gods guide you!"
The ribbon is a token awarded by Trebor, the Mad Overlord, after the party has defeated the opponents in the Monster Allocation Center (12E/15N). The party passes two doors to the south and are spoken to by Trebor in a small room (11E/10N). The only exit is a one-way door leading to the corridor to the west. The ribbon is a sign that the party is ready now to face the more dangerous lower levels of the maze and battle Werdna eventually. The characters can now pass the door to the Private Express Elevator (10E/2N).
