The ring is among the loot when the party have succeeded in fighting the enemies in the Monster Allocation Center. It is a cursed item, and it will cost the character 250.000 gold pieces to remove it at Boltac's Trading Post. However, if identified correctly and left unequipped, the ring can be sold there for the same amount, which is a handy sum even in the middle stages of the game.
