About me
The first Wizardry game I actually played was the German version of "Bane of the Cosmic Forge". I never finished it, because I couldn't answer the final riddle.
Years later, I acquired Wizardry 8 together with a German computer game magazine. I think it's a truly great game, despite the fact that the developers were in a rush and obviously couldn't finish some of the minor quests properly.
Now I am the proud owner of the Wizardry Archives, all games of which I intend to play (and finish) eventually. Well...it's a bit tedious at times. Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord must be one of the most frustrating games ever (although I haven't played The Return of Werdna properly so far). Still, I thoroughly enjoyed playing it (most of the times), and I seldom felt more satisfaction about defeating a villain. Werdna was tough; he killed off a few of my best characters, but in the end I got him!
I hope that there'll be a Wizardry IX some day.
