The Company are a do-gooders group of Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna consists of two good lords, a neutral samurai, good bishop, neutral thief and good mage.

- The Company and all of the members are a direct reference from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien's works.
- Argon is a play of Aragorn himself.
- Thorninside is a play to Thorin Oakenshield from The Hobbit.
- Dry Gimili is a play to Gimli himself.
- Elkrand is probably a reference to Elrond.
- His name is a direct reference to Elkrand Limited, the former name of Apstor International Limited who changed in 1987.
- Pepe La Phew is likely a reference to Peregrin Took known as Pippin.
- Unrelated to The Lord of the Rings, his full name is a play to Pepé Le Pew from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of WB's cartoons.
