PlayStation

The PlayStation (プレイステーション, Pureisutēshon) is a video game console and the first of Sony's PlayStation game consoles. The predecessor for the PlayStation 2, it was released in Japan in 1994 and worldwide in 1995. PlayStation is the fifth generation of video game consoles.

Several titles were developed only in Japan.
