Lulunarde is a mysterious ghost of a girl and the non-playable character of Wizardry Variants Daphne. She guides the protagonist, meeting him in the Abyss.

Profile

An unidentified girl that only you can see. Meeting her in the Abyss, travel together. She speaks frankly, but she is knowledgeable and dependable.[1]

Description

Lulunarde is a self-proclaimed former human adventurer who was quite skilled. She is playful, and enjoyed the eventful life of adventuring. She calls herself a 'Legendary Adventurer' to the protagonist in the first ending, but disagrees with it if the protagonist addresses her as such in subsequent endings.

At some point, she died in the dungeon to not yet known reasons. When she died, the Abyss cursed her ghost to be bound to itself, preventing her from leaving. It was only until she met the Protagonist that she was able to leave the Abyss.

However, she can only travel a set distance away from him, as she gradually becomes more transparent and loses awareness. It is unknown what would happen if she fully disappeared. In addition, only the protagonist can see and speak with her.
