The Hobbits (ホッビト) are one of the primary races of Wizardry franchise which players can choose for character generation in all games of the original series with the exception of Wizardry IV. They are small human-like beings with high dexterity.

Trivia
- Hobbits are based off the race of the same name from the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and it seems that the hobbits of all Wizardry games were closely modelled on Tolkien's idea of the race as portrayed in The Lord of the Rings.
- On several titles such as Wizardry Chapter 1 and Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord Remake, Hobbit was renamed to Halfling, presumably due to ongoing trademark issue mentioned above.
