Knight of Diamonds, often abbreviated as KOD is a recurring background character and a titular title that first appeared on Wizardry II: The Knight of Diamonds.

According to the manual of Wizardry II, the knight is a "great hero" who wore a "fabled armor". Princess Margda and Prince Alavik found the armor, which enabled them to overthrow the evil Davalpus.
In the course of Wizardry II, the characters reassemble the armor's various parts. In the end, one of them becomes the new "Knight of Diamonds" by wearing the armor. This means that there were at least three "Knights of Diamonds":
- the original hero, whose name is unknown
- Prince Alavik
- one of the player's characters, as referred to in the manual of Wizardry III: Legacy of Llylgamyn.
