This page details how to properly name images. Please follow these standards when uploading images!
If you are still not sure what to do, just ask an admin, by Discord, or on their talk page.
Artwork
All official artwork or render, should be named in the format:
File:<game or scenario abbreviation> <character name>.png
For example, the render of Elmon of Wizardry Variants Daphne is named "WVD Elmon.png".
Abbreviations used:
Battle sprites
All battle sprites, or the sprites for characters in actual combat, should be named in one of the six following formats:
- For monster sprites:
File:<game abbreviation> MS <monster name>.png
- For monster sprites made for each different versions:
File:<game abbreviation> <version code> MS <monster name>.png
- For monster or enemy sprites made only for Wizardry I-II and Wizardry III-IV (some are exception to this):
File:PCECD MS <monsters name>.png
- For monster sprites made for Wizardry: Llylgamyn Saga:
File:LSAGA <PGMO/KOD/LOL> <sprite code> MS <monster name>.png
- For enemy sprites made for Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna computer version:
File:ROW <version code> Portrait <enemy name>.png
- For enemy sprites made for Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna New Age of Llylgamyn version:
File:ROW NAOL <sprites code> Portrait <enemy name>.png

Item sprites
Item sprites, or the nice little images besides the name of weapons or items, should be named in the format:
File:<game abbreviation> <version code> Item <weapon/item name>.png
For example, the sprite for Anointed Mace, is called "PGMO WS Item Anointed Mace.png".
Maps
All maps should be named in one of the four following formats:
- For labyrinth maps that contains only one section in the entire game:
File:Map <game abbreviation> <floor name>.png
- For labyrinth maps made specifically for each different versions:
File:Map <game abbreviation> <version code> <floor name>.png
- For outdoor maps divided by per locations:
File:Map <game abbreviation> <location name>.png
- For labyrinth maps divided by per locations:
File:Map <game abbreviation> <location name> <floor name>.png
Portraits
All portraits should be named in one of the two following formats:
File:<game abbreviation> Portrait <character name>.png
or
File:<game abbreviation> Portrait <race name> <gender code> <portrait number>.png

Before clicking on "Upload file", you should add the corresponding category in the Summary box.
